Many people continue to colour their hair during pregnancy or while breastfeeding and generally there is no specific medical restriction. However, sensitivities can vary from individual to individual so it often comes down to personal comfort.

SMiB Colour Change Shampoo works differently from traditional hair dyes. It is a colour deposit shampoo that gradually builds colour with each wash rather than relying on strong dye chemicals for instant results.

Our formula follows a scalp first, research led approach and does not contain harsh dye ingredients such as PPD, parabens, ammonia, THB (Trihydroxybenzene) and is free from SLS/SLES.

It is built on our anti aging formula, Herb Spa shampoo base and formulated with SP-3 Complex (30,000 ppm) to support overall scalp condition while gradually enhancing grey coverage.

That said, our products have not been specifically tested on pregnant or breastfeeding individuals. As every pregnancy is unique, we recommend consulting your doctor before introducing any new hair or scalp product during this period especially if you have sensitivities or concerns.
